Airport Parking Long Term Rates
As someone who flies quite often, i am always search for cheap airport parking rates. I live between two cities so in particular I look for cheap airport parking Brisbane, and cheap undercover airport parking melbournewhere the weather and the neighbourhood is a bit more dodgy.
Airport Parking Brisbane
Until recently I had been parking at the Brisbane airport in a nearby long term carpark without really shopping around. Then the other week I came across an ad for a new longterm carpark at Brisbane Airport. The had a special which I am led to believe will continue where they offered cheap brisbane airport parking for just eight dollars per day. This is much cheaper than using the long term parking bays at the actual airport.
I remember when I first looked for alternatives to expensive parking that I thought it would take much longer to use an external parking service but this is not true. You just pull up there and one person parks your car for you, while another drops you at the front door of the airport. So you don’t have to walk as far with your luggage. Same on the way back. One person meets you at the baggage carousel and when you get back to the car park your car is waiting ready to go. There is not ticket to lose or queues to pay at the metre.
Airport Parking Melbourne
Melbourne is one of the more expensive airports in Australia for parking. So cheap airport parking in Melbourne is valuable to a frequent traveller like myself. I also prefer to use undercover airport parking in Melbourne due to the unpredictable weather.
Similar to Brisbane I searched for a cheaper alternative nearby and found some much lower Melbourne airport parking rates than the huge outdoor parking owned by the airport itself. You don’t have to wait for a crowded bus full of unhappy people, and you don’t pay though the nose like you do at the multilevel carpark they have either.
Take my advice, use airport discount parking if you travel often and you will save time and money.
Long Term Parking Brisbane Airport
The last time I went on holidays, the cost of the airport parking in Brisbane was more expensive than the cost of my flights. So this time I did a bit of research on the Internet before I just drove to the airport and took the parking owned by the airport itself.
What I found that it was much cheaper to park at a nearby carparking facility and let them shuttle me to the airport. It did not take any longer really to get there and on the way back it was maybe even faster as they were waiting for me when I got off my flight and I did not have to get my bags and carry them all the way from the arrival lounge to the parking place. Kingsford Smith Parking were there with their van parked right outside.
For me this was a much better airport parking Brisbane solution rather than just paying top dollar for what I used to think was the easiest way to park. They have easy to understand airport parking rates and the driver was helpful and friendly. I will definitely use their service again.
